A common sight along Welsh river valleys, the Sessile Oak is the national tree of Wales. The word sessile means without a stalk. The sessile oak is so named because of its stalkless acorns. The druids were particularly associated with oak trees - the word druid (derwydd) is said to come from the root word meaning oak (derw). The Sessile Oak bracelet features an exquistely crafted assortment of yellow & rose gold oak leaves and acorns. Each is attached to a 19cm yellow gold open-linked curb chain which is secured with a lobster clasp . The Sessile Oak bracelet carries the unique Clogau Gold and Welsh dragon marks and is delivered in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.
